The Girl with a Broken Soul

A story written by : Ismail R Raslan

Once upon a time , there was this beautiful lady , Hair is black as stone , eyes as blue as the sea , skin as soft as the sand. Her only defect was a strange left ear.
She developed the ugly habit of tilting her hair to the left to cover it up. Afraid from rejection, she never reveled this to anyone.

She lived what she called , a normal life.

Fell in love with an architect , and things were going sweet as a summer breeze. Madly in love , all what she can see is her architect.

A man who seemed as the perfect caring guy.

Later she started to lose weight , became pale. Out of concern she seeked medical advice.
Later was diagnosed with cancer ! !

She started to lose weight ,her black beautiful hair and her astonishing grace .

And her architect’s fragile love faded less and less every day , shallow as he was it showed more and more each day.

Then finally he saw her ear , and acted like scum of the earth. And left her when she most needed him.

Broken ! And heart broken.


She chose solitude in her fortress.

One day going to the hospital for her chemo. Weak , broken , and in pain. With her harry potter cap on , to hide her lost hair. Sees a very charming man a head of her , her heart raced. A strong wend breeze hits hard , and her hat flies away.

She almost died from shame.

The man runs behind her hat. Struggles to get it.
And gets it !!

Walking back to her , all what she can think about is , “ he's going to ask me if I have cancer , if I'm sick , what should I say , should I run “

He looks her in her eyes and tells her , are you a harry potter fan ?! About to answer !
He shouts with a serious face , team harry of team slytherin ? She says slytherin .
He replies back , mudbloods are lame aren't they !?
We should kill them all , and put the school back in action.
Release the dementors of azkaban !!

She laughs , like she never did before , first time in years , she actually felt happy , even for a split second , she felt warmth in her heart.

Someone actually cared.

He took her in her lowest. He valued her for who she really is , what was inside her soul.

As he was a well known doctor, he had many connection , and was able to put her in a clinical trial for her cancer.

The fight for cancer wasn't easy.

Yet he stayed with her , he helped her past her worse. And past her Cancer !

As happy as they both were , after her treatment , she grew beautiful again , he loved her more and more each day , to him she was an angel on earth .

He loved her soul before she grew up to the angel she is now in his eyes.

In order for us to achieve our dreams, we must have a vision of our goals. Writing down our dreams and creating a list of actions helps us stick to our plan. As it’s said “if you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it”. When we turn our goals into measurable actions, we gain clarity and are able to see the necessary steps we must take in order to achieve them.

Visualize a life of your wildest dreams. What did you dream of doing when you were a child? What would you do if you had a million dollars? Create a vision for your goals and start breaking them down into small actions that you can take on a day by day basis.

NASA Astronaut Shows Sound Waves On the ISS

Watching water droplets dance is cool, but watching water droplets rock out in space is even cooler.

Why do men's clothes have buttons on the right while women's clothes have buttons on the left?


I always wondered why men's clothes have buttons on the right while women's clothes have buttons on the left.
When buttons were invented, they were very expensive and worn primarily by the rich. Since most people are right-handed, it is easier to push buttons on the right through holes on the left. Because wealthy women were dressed by maids, dressmakers put the buttons on the maid's right! And that's where women's buttons have remained since.

Star Wars Day





Star Wars Day may refer to one of two dates 4th and 25th of May.


May 4 is considered a holiday by Star Wars fans to celebrate Star Wars culture and honor the films.

May 4 is called Star Wars Day because of the popularity of a common pun spoken on this day. Since the phrase "May the Force be with you" is a famous quote often spoken in the Star Wars films, fans commonly say "May the fourth be with you" on this day. Current day Star Warsfans were not the first to introduce the line "May the fourth be with you": when Margaret Thatcher was elected Britain's first female Prime Minister on May 4, 1979, her party placed an advertisement in The London Evening News that said "May the Fourth Be with You, Maggie. Congratulations."

Relaxation



Practicing relaxation techniques can help calm our days when they get too stressful. It's easy to miss out on enjoying a day in our life if our minds are filled with worrisome thoughts and our bodies are tense with stress. A day lived is not coming back and we should not lose it in this way.
For starters, eliminate some things. Avoid running around frantically trying to do too many things. Slow down and move with an easy manner. 
If you cannot avoid problems and busy days, get in the habit of pausing to breathe slowly and deeply. Try to continue with easy breathing as you continue on with your tasks.
When tightening up, say at your desk, relax all your muscles. Let them go limp and loose like a soft towel. Don't try, just let it all go. Consciously let the muscles relax every time you feel them tighten, which might be all day long to start with. It is almost impossible to feel stressed if your muscles are relaxed. 
If you can get a short break create a detailed peaceful retreat in your imagination and go there to calm your feelings. Picture it in vivid detail. Perhaps a comfortable room with soft music, a quiet place in the woods, a placid lake, a beautiful garden with flowers, trees, birds. Perhaps such a place already exists. While you are there, let go of everything except where you are.
Create a personal selection of calming words like serene, tranquil, peaceful and repeat them to yourself as you move through your day.
After work perhaps you can have a relaxing pastime such as walking or listening to music.

Confidence



Hello my dear readers I'm posting this this topic based on the request of several of my friends.
Have you often admired the person who is friendly, relaxed and talks easily in a crowd? Most of us have wished that we had more of these outgoing attributes to help us in our work and daily lives.
DON'T WORRY !

Confidence comes easily and naturally for some, for many others it seems impossible. The good news is that it is a habit that can be learned to some degree by anyone. It will take some training and practice, but what a great way to be more successful and to feel better.

A great source for learning self-confidence is of course books. You haven't been alone in the need for information on improving your ability to interact positively with people and there are numerous self-help books available to get you started. Just take an easy approach and read a variety of the best sellers that you feel will benefit you the most.

Using autosuggestion, by repeatedly filling the mind with thoughts of calmness and composure, can improve self-assurance. Picture in your mind, as vividly as possible, a scene in which you are performing very successfully. Picture this again and again so that your mind is totally occupied with your easy performance. This will push out doubt as there is not room for both trains of thought. Every time a negative thought pops up, immediately replace it with positive thoughts.

Affirmations are a similar technique that can work wonders. This is the repeating of positive words about yourself, concerning what you wish to do. The words cram the mind with confident thoughts that have a direct effect on how you feel and act. As an example, if you have to make a presentation - ' I have nothing to lose. They like me and I feel good and comfortable with these people. I am concentrating on them, not on myself. They are not here to be critical of me. I am doing everything slowly, calmly, surely. I am relaxed and breathing deeply and easily. I feel confident about this and am in control.'
